How it works

A secure process from browse to transfer

WasalaMarketplace handles the full lifecycle of an MVP or Seed-stage startup sale — from listing and due diligence to escrow-secured transfer of IP, source code and operational assets.

1. Browse & filter

Buyers browse listings filtered by stage (MVP or Seed), tech stack, MRR, and asking price. Every listing includes financials, tech details and included assets.

2. Chat & due diligence

Direct messaging between buyers and sellers. Request additional metrics, code samples, or customer data during due diligence.

3. Make an offer

Buyers submit an offer at or below asking price. Sellers can accept, reject or counter.

4. Escrow lock (EUR)

Once accepted, the buyer's funds are locked in escrow in euros (EUR). The seller cannot access them until the transfer is verified.

5. IP & asset transfer

Seller transfers source code, domain, social accounts and customer data. Buyer confirms receipt in the escrow console.

6. Release (−5% fee)

Escrow releases the funds to the seller, minus the 5% platform commission. Deal is closed and audited.

Identity verification (KYC): Sellers must complete Stripe Connect Express onboarding — including identity verification and bank account details — before receiving payouts. Buyers pay by card through Stripe and do not need to complete platform KYC.
